Associate - Textiles

In India, Enviu is building an inclusive and circular textile industry by ideating and building business solutions that enable post-consumer textile waste to become a viable raw material for the textile industry and empowers textile workers through dignified livelihoods.
We are looking for an Associate in our Bengaluru office with experience in the textile and fashion industry, who wants to contribute building a sustainable textile and fashion industry and join us on our crazy mission to build impact ventures and drive systemic change.
About the job
As Associate - Textiles, you will play a key role in driving Enviu’s textile program in India. It is a project-based role, where you will work closely with the Regional Program Manager, and support program management and build new interventions in the textile industry.
As part of this role, you will collaborate closely internally with venture and communications teams, and externally with (potential) partners and industry stakeholders. The role combines program execution, and monitoring with ecosystem analysis and new concept design.
This is a full-time role in Bengaluru with a hybrid work structure.
Key Responsibilities
Program execution & support (60%)
Drive preparation of grant reporting, writing timely, detailed reports to funders in line with their stated requirements
Implement monitoring & evaluation frameworks, ensuring quality data collection and analysis that can be used for steering, marketing and donor reporting.
Contribute to thought leadership: event plans and execution, draft case studies, blog posts, and insights pieces to build momentum for our work in textile sector.
Support venture teams to develop blueprints for successful processes implemented in textile waste management that can be replicated and scaled.
Domain Development and Ecosystem Building (40%)
Perform issue analysis and market mapping to identify opportunities and gaps in the ecosystem, applying a structured, consulting-based approach to diagnose challenges and propose new program concepts.
Stay abreast of policy measures, government initiatives, and global trends in circularity and sustainability, synthesizing insights to inform program design.
Scout, identify and research potential partners and funders to build the program and venture pipeline.
Draft and refine high quality concept notes, proposals, and pitch materials with compelling narratives for program and venture funding.
About you
We are looking for a person with a mix of conceptual thinking and operational execution abilities with:
Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. international development, business, sustainability, textiles, etc.)
3+ years of professional experience in the textile industry in business focused, consulting, program management and related fields.
Strong research and analytical skills; able to synthesize insights into actionable strategies and narratives.
Ability to structure new ideas into proposals and program concepts and pitches using your design and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar)
Ability to juggle different tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks and projects efficiently with a hands-on mentality
And it would be a plus if you have:
Confidence as a communicator; able to engage with partners and experience representing organizations at conferences / external events.
Experience in the startup, circular economy space.
Aspirations to grow in the textile industry through a sustainability lens.
Familiarity with logic models, theories of change in developmental context and exposure to impact measurement / M&E frameworks and data collection
