Enviu is a worldwide impact-driven venture building studio. In Indonesia we run the Zero Waste program. The program aims to radically reduce plastic pollution through reuse solutions and using on the ground experience to drive a thriving reuse ecosystem. Currently we are focusing on building the ecosystem and market to scale the implementation of reuse solutions, through our Reuse in Jakarta initiative. This includes collaboration with FMCGs and retailers to lower barriers for implementation, with funders to increase capital for reuse solutions and with governments to stimulate support for waste prevention. We are acting as a thought leader in relevant networks, inspire and create awareness.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As Program Manager you will carry out the program management, engage with key partners, and represent the programand the company to external stakeholders. You will steer and execute our ecosystem activities. Furthermore, you will work on program development, fundraising, staffing and budgeting.
Program management
Lead the program’s execution, managing timelines, deliverables, and quality execution of activities across research, reporting, and planning
Manage the program team
Oversee the development of the operational key results and monitoring and evaluation
Oversee and manage the program's budget
Drive and nurture collaboration with execution partners

Manage partnerships with funders, report to funders and build a trust relationship
Program development & strategy
Develop the program strategy to ensure the outcomes are reached
Design projects which contribute to the outcomes

Secure funding to ensure the program’s impact
Ecosystem development & networking
Lead and execute ecosystem development, among others:
Development of the funding landscape, among others by sharing the opportunities of circular models, sharing insights about funding mechanisms, and engaging directly with several types of funders
Participate in the reuse association
Facilitate multi-stakeholder convenings to align interests, co-develop reuse pathways, and influence global, national, and regional circular economy policies.
Development of program to implement reuse solutions with FMCGs
Create, build and maintain strong relationships with (new) local and international stakeholders, including civil society organizations, corporates, institutions, (inter-)governmental organizations and funders, to strengthen the programmatic impact.

Engage with city-level departments and municipalities to explore opportunities to collaborate with innovators/solution builders and embed reuse solutions within urban and community infrastructures.
Communications & thought leadership
Represent the organization as a thought leader at high level meetings with stakeholders, relevant conferences, (speaking slots) at events
Ensure key information is disseminated through publications and that program insights are taken up by key stakeholder groups (private, public and social)
Steer and support the conversion of Enviu’s on the ground experience into advice for policymakers, corporates and funders
About you
We are looking for a highly motivated and effective program manager, based in Jakarta, who can be the powerful force behind Reuse in Jakarta and the inspiring thought leader for an extremely relevant topic. You are driven by impact and set the bar high for quality in program and project execution and delivery. You are self-starting and can forge and develop new collaborations. You apply business acumen and strategic thinking.
5+ years of experience and a proven track record in program or project management, stakeholder engagement, and/or as management consultant. Experience in working with impact ventures is a pre
Experience in partnership management
Writing propelling grant proposals for different kinds of funders
Confident and experienced in delivering and overseeing qualitative and quantitative research
Demonstrated public speaking skills
Experience with systems thinking, human centered design and value proposition design are a pre
Comfortable with building upon relationships with existing partners and stakeholders, involving them in the development of the program, as well as identifying and building relationships with new partners to envision, design and scale up projects within the program
Knowledgeable and have an active interest in sustainability and circular economy and would love to contribute to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable future
Strong affinity with and knowledge of plastics and packaging systems is a big plus
A hands-on mentality; the success of this program lies in its impact
Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must
